  • Tilt mechanism : The tilt mechanism allows for smooth movement of the seat and backrest. This promotes an active sitting posture and reduces pressure on the lower back during long workdays.
  • Adjustable armrests: The armrests are adjustable in width, depth, rotation, and height. A unique and patented feature is that the armrests remain completely still during the movement of the mechanism, preventing them from bumping against the desktop. The exceptionally wide width adjustment, which can be adjusted to either a very narrow or very wide setting, is also unique and essential for ergonomic screen work.
  • Backrest cushion with pelvic support: The medium-height, height-adjustable 47 cm backrest provides optimal support for the back, neck, and shoulders. The ergonomically shaped back cushion follows the natural curvature of the spine, reducing fatigue during prolonged sitting. A unique feature is the integrated pelvic support in the lower part of the backrest, which ensures that your spine automatically assumes the ideal, healthy curve.

The unique, patented Axia seating principle

The Axia® computer chair features the innovative Axia® 2.0 tilt mechanism, which can be operated from both sides. The seat and backrest move synchronously at a fixed angle, while the armrests remain stationary to prevent them from bumping against the desktop. The angle is individually adjustable between approximately 90° and 105°.

Thanks to its unique pelvic bracing principle, the computer chair provides optimal support in any position and encourages a natural, healthy sitting posture. The clever split-seat design ensures that the front part of the seat remains fixed, while the back part moves with it. This results in maximum support during passive sitting and promotes proper muscle activity during active sitting. The seat height remains constant, keeping the feet in contact with the floor and preventing unnecessary pressure on the thighs.
